Sheets to the Wind

Where was I six months ago

Low in the valley and two or three sheets to the wind

Mama a change so, ya I change so

Ya I change more than you could know

Only reflection that I can see

He’s never looking right back at me

Maybe he’s worried

Maybe he’s serene

But he knows where the story’s going

He knows where it went

He knows how it feels to be standing in six feet of cement

He looks like he’s seen life’s glory and from whom it was sent

Where was I three months ago

Letter they showed me and I blew right out of town

Mama a change so, ya I change so

Ya I change more than you could know

Only reflection that I can see

He turned his head about thirty degrees

Maybe he’s worried

Maybe he’s serene

But he knows where the story’s going

He knows where it went

He knows how it feels to be standing in six feet of cement

He looks like he’s seen life’s glory and from whom it was sent

In the mirror just yesterday

My mind is racing and it feels like a dream

Only reflection that I can see

He started looking right back at me

I’ll be waiting to see your reflection in me

And I can come back home again

Again, again, again

I’ll be waiting to see your reflection in me

And I can come back home again

Again, again, again

I’ll be waiting to see your reflection in me

And I can come back home again

Again, again, again

I’ll be waiting to see your reflection in me

And I can come back home again

Again, again, again
